CALL FOR PAPERS

The International Conference on eLearning in Central and Eastern Europe – ICeL 2018

The International Conference on eLearning in Central and Eastern Europe (ICeL 2018) will be held in Timisoara, Romania, European Union. ICeL 2018 is built around the following topics that target key areas of research in Learning Technologies, namely:

• Open Education Technologies
• Policies in Open and Distance Education
• Blended Learning
• Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs)
• Open Educational Resources
• Digital Collaborative Learning
• Adaptive Technology-Enhance Learning
• Learning Analytics
• Online and Mobile Learning
• Augmented Reality Applications in Education
• Digital Students Services

All papers should focus on the impact of eLearning in Central and Eastern Europe, the development, success stories of failures, critical analysis of previous research or publications, and its future.

A series of policy makers, trend-setters and key figures in the areas mentioned above have already confirmed their presence and will hosts challenging presentations.

IMPORTANT DATES

August 15, 2018: Submissions of papers

September 15, 2018: Authors’ Notification on the review process results

September 25, 2018: Authors’ Registration Deadline

September 25, 2018: Final Camera-Ready Manuscript and Copyright Form submission

October 4, 2018: ICeL Conference in Timisoara

SUBMISSIONS

We invite submission of papers reporting original academic or industrial research in the area of eLearning Technologies in Central and Eastern Europe. All papers will be blindly peer-reviewed. Complete papers are required to be reviewed. The expected types of submissions include:

Full paper: 3-5 pages,

Posters: 2 pages

All publications should be original and they will be published using an Open Access and Creative Commons License (CC-BY-NC-SA Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International) 

Extended and revised articles will be submitted for an edited book of Online and Open Education in Central and Eastern Europe, to be published by Springer in 2019.
