Distinction: CeL Director, Diana Andone - IEEE Education Society Award for Excellence in Educational Leadership
The “Distinguished Chapter Leadership” award of the IEEE Education Society was awarded in 2021 to the director of the ID / IFR and eLearning Center of the Polytechnic University of Timișoara - Dr. Diana Andone.
Dr. Diana Andone, CeL Director, received the EDEN Senior Fellow Award
The award is one of the most prestigious EDEN awards and was presented at the Opening Ceremony of the EDEN 2021 Annual Virtual Conference, as “recognition of the contribution to the development of open, distance and e-learning in Europe and for valuable commitment and support for the evolution and progress of EDEN ”, by the President of EDEN - Sandra Kučina Softić.

Dr. Diana Andone presented the evolutions of the Open Virtual Mobility project, the OpenVM learning hub developed by the e-Learning Center team, the 24 free open courses for virtual mobility and digital accreditations, using the Open Digital Certificates standard to recognize all 8 OpenVM qualifications.
