"Thank you very much, Sandra, and thank you to EDEN and the European Committee for giving me this award.

I am humbly grateful for this achievement. I must say that my first EDEN meeting was in 1996, so it's been a long time since I've been with EDEN, at conferences, in Budapest, Granada and all of Europe.

I must thank António (Teixera), Airina (Volungevičienė) and Sandra (Kučina Softić) - the three chairs I have served as a member of the executive committee and as vice-chair, especially with the last one, and the whole committee. executive and members and the NAP committee, who was very supportive of all the crazy actions, if I may say so, and supported me in all the ideas I “blew up”. And they "caught the balls" with the extraordinary support of the Secretariat, which was really great and I'm very happy to be able to do that.

I'll be around EDEN for longer. This is just an encouragement. Thank you all!”- were the words of Dr. Diana Andone at the EDEN Senior Fellow award
