Politehnica University of Timișoara, through the Department of ID/IFR and digital education and the Multimedia Center, together with the Alliance of European Universities E³UDRES², the National Museum of Banat and IEEE Romania, organize on Friday, December 8, 2023, between 10:00 and 14:00, the eighth edition of the workshop Digital Skills and Competences / Digital skills and abilities, with the theme Digital Skills for Culture & Creative Industries Workshop, integrated in Spotlight Heritage Timisoara.

The event will take place on physically in Timisoara, in the K1 Amphitheater, UPT Conference Center, B-dul Vasile Pârvan, No. 2 B, but also online and addresses actors in the field of culture, education, innovation and creative industries.
In this edition they will present and debate themes of Digital Culture, Digital Heritage, Digital Entrepreneurship, Augmented/Virtual/Extended Reality, Experimental Media, Blockchain national and international specialists (from the USA, England, Austria, Holland, Norway, Greece, Italy, Spain and Romania), student entrepreneurs and experts from companies, who will demonstrate through practical examples, the impact that digital skills can have in culture, creative industries, education and how they can drive innovation. 
Presentations will be conducted in Romanian and English, and participants will receive Digital Skills Workshop Participant Open Badges and Certificates of Attendance for physical participants in the room. 
Spotlight Heritage Timișoara is a digital cultural initiative of the Politehnica University of Timișoara carried out in partnership with the National Museum of Banat, part of the Cultural Program Timișoara 2023 European Capital of Culture. Cultural project co-financed by the Municipality of Timișoara through the Project Center, the Timiș County Council, the Ministry of Culture, EAA and Norway Grants.
