The Polytechnic University of Timișoara, through the ID / IFR and e-Learning Center (CEL), hosted, on Saturday, October 19, at the UPT Conference Center a new edition of Codecamp Timișoara. The event was attended by over 500 IT enthusiasts, who had a choice from over 35 sessions given by international and Romanian speakers.

Deep Tech, Architecture, DevOps - current topics in 2019

The event was organized by the Codecamp Romania team in partnership with the Polytechnic University of Timișoara, through the ID / IFR and e-Learning Center, this autumn's edition being organized on 6 tracks in parallel, on topics such as Deep Tech, Architecture or DevOps

Codecamp2019 brought together over 500 IT enthusiasts, in more than 35 sessions held by international and Romanian international speakers and the teams of the 15 partners.

Peter Leeson - keynote speaker

Understanding and estimating Quality

The day was opened by Peter Leeson, with the keynote Understanding and estimating Quality, in which he broke the concept of quality into simple components and showed how you can get a higher customer satisfaction coefficient.

The event continued with 3 workshops and 6 technical tracks, in parallel. At the workshops, participants learned how to build a smart mini-garden, how to accelerate innovation or how to improve their written code, in this year's first Coderetreat at Codecamp.

Christian Liebel, Pascal Naber, Ciprian Jichici - keynote speakers

On the technical tracks, the participants had the opportunity to listen to Christian Liebel, talking about what problems can occur in applications developed with Angular and how you can avoid them. Pascal Naber talked about how you can use Docker containers efficiently in production and Ciprian Jichici told his vision on the future of Machine Learning.

We are glad that current topics such as Deep Tech, Architecture or Machine Learning are presented here today. And that there are so many companies - there are over 15 companies that support Codecamp Timisoara

Codecamp is one of the largest IT communities in Romania and the Republic of Moldova, which has been organizing conferences of the same name since 2008 and, since 2018, in collaboration with Strongbytes, the NDR conference - The Artificial Intelligence Conference.

The next edition of Codecamp will take place in Timisoara in May 2020.
