Debate on the Guide for the unitary application of evaluation standards (vol 1) proposed by ARACIP.

#onlinetogether #impreunaonline

In these times of lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, just like in other countries, face-to-face educational functions and activities are being moved online, using apps, platforms and various tools for distance education.

In the Online together webinars , we respond to these challenges, in the most practical way possible, in the spirit of open education and free access to knowledge. Participants received an Open Badge (Open digital certificate) - Online together.

The Timiș Education Working Group, in collaboration with the Timiș County School Inspectorate, the Intercultural Institute and the UPT e-Learning Center, organized an online debate on the Guide for internal and external evaluation of institutional development, launched for public consultation by ARACIP.

Participants were both people from the categories to whom the guide is addressed directly (especially the directors of pre-university education units and members of the evaluation and quality assurance commissions (CEAC) of pre-university education units) and the categories of staff in the education system, parents , students and others interested in supporting the improvement of the quality of education.

More than 700 people were present, both on the Zoom platform and on the Facebook and YouTube platforms, taking part in the public debate on the Guide for the internal and external evaluation of institutional development.

The participants had the opportunity to consult the guide, ask questions and provide opinions in the form of an open dialogue with Șerban Iosifescu, President of ARACIP, together with other presenters, actors who support and are actively involved in improving the quality of education.

The debate had an important impact on the development and action plan of the schools for the youth community that the schools currently serve, including extra-curricular activities, non-formal education and support for all involved.

The discussion also touched on some questions that are essential to achieve a democratic process of assessing the institutional development of schools, namely: What do we do with what we know? Where are we? Where do we want to be? How do we get there?
