VERY IMPORTANT!

The tuition fee for students declared admitted to the fee-paying places can be paid in two equal installments. The first installment must be paid at the Rector's office, in the following periods:

  • Saturday 28.07.2018 between 8 am and 12 noon
  • Monday 30.07.2018 between 12 and 16
  • Wednesday 01.08.2018 between 12 and 16
  • Monday 03.09.2018 - Thursday 06.09.2018 between 12 - 15
  • Friday 07.09.2018 between 12 and 13

Students who have not paid the first installment by 07.09.2018 their admission status will be canceled, and their seats will be allocated to the admission session in September 2018.

The Polytechnic University of Timișoara, through the ID / IFR and e-Learning Center (CeL - former Distance Learning Center) organizes and conducts distance learning study programs for specializations:

The study programs are accredited by ARACIS and confer the same diploma as in the case of studies in the form of full-time education, the diploma of higher bachelor's degree in the form of distance / part-time education (according to HG607 / 2014)

The method of education
The bachelor's degree awarded at the end of studies is identical to that of the day education form, the only difference being the mention of the education form. The curriculum, the courses are identical to those in the form of day education, and the tutoring will be performed by the same teachers who carry out courses in the form of day education.
Advantages of conducting distance learning courses:

  • courses conducted online through the UPT Virtual Campus platform (www.cv.upt.ro)
  • online administration of notes and topics / projects
  • 4 meetings per semester (Saturday) for distance learning (specialization Informatics, Technologies and Systems of Telecommunications and Communication and Public Relations). During the session, the exams will be scheduled every weekend (1-2 exams per weekend).
  • 9 meetings per semester (Saturday and Sunday) for part-time education (specialization in Machine Building Technology). During the session, the exams will be scheduled every weekend (1-2 exams per weekend).
  • ID / IFR students benefit from full online support during their studies, through the Virtual Campus: course materials, homework and activities, exam notes, communication and direct interaction.

ONLINE registration between June 4 - July 23, 2018.

To meet future students in ID / IFR, CeL staff offers the chance to register online and saves you a number of trips to university.

What do you have to do?

  • Fill in the online registration form at the address https://admitere.upt.ro (available in the appropriate period), save it, print it, and scan it
  • Send the registration form, together with the documents for the scanned provisional registration file, to the e-mail address contact@elearning.upt.ro
  • Pay the registration fee in the account assigned to each faculty and send the scanned payment order to the e-mail address contact@elearning.upt.ro (bank accounts)
  • Until the date of confirmation of the place, bring / send (personally / through a representative) the original documents / legalized copies to our headquarters (contact)

CeL staff will pre-register your application for the admission competition and keep you informed of its status, so you will have to make only one trip to college, to confirm the place, when you will replace the submitted documents scanned online, with the original ones.

* Considering that any candidate had the opportunity to compete in parallel at several sections of UPT or even at other universities, the candidates declared admitted, regardless of whether or not they had multiple candidacies, have the obligation that until 26.07.2018 , at 16:00, to confirm the status of admitted and, implicitly, to remain in the competition at the section in question.
 
** Confirmation is made by paying the registration fee as a student of UPT and handing over the receipt to the Faculty Admissions Commission.
 
Candidates who do not comply with all the above obligations will be considered withdrawn from the relevant section.
 
It is noted that throughout the competition, candidates are treated on the basis of their initial list of options, any modification or addition being strictly prohibited, including in the event that, in the end, some places will remain unoccupied.

Documents required for registration

Registration file according to UPT admission methodology:

  1. baccalaureate diploma or equivalent diploma, in original or certified copy
  2. copy of the transcript with the grades obtained during high school, prepared according to the legislation in force; the copy will be certified by one of the members of the Admission Commission of the Faculty / group of Faculties, based on the original
  3. copy of the candidate's ID card; the copy will be certified by one of the members of the Admission Commission of the Faculty / group of Faculties;
  4. birth certificate, certified by one of the members of the Admission Commission of the Faculty / group of Faculties;
  5. medical certificate type MS 18.1.1. to which the status of the vaccines will be attached, up to date
  6. three color diploma photographs;
  7. proof of payment of the registration fee (receipt, notice, etc.); if the payment is made by depositing the fee in the account allocated to the faculty for collecting the registration fees then the proof issued by the bank will have to contain the following text: “UPT admission fee, Faculty…, July 2018 session, for….” (the name of the candidate will be mentioned);
  8. bachelor's or graduate diploma and transcript of transcript / partial transcript - in the case of students who have graduated or partially attended the courses of other faculties and want the equivalence of certain disciplines

Candidates for the Faculty of Communication Sciences will also attach the certificate obtained after taking the language proficiency test (according to Art. 4) or a certified copy of one of the following documents (corresponding to the language of the study program involved):

  1. Certificate of Proficiency in English CAE-Certificate in Advanced English; FCE - First Certificate in English; CPE - Certificate of Proficiency in English;
  2. IELTS-International English Language Testing System;
  3. TOEFL-Test of English as a Foreign Language;
  4. DSP-Deutsches Sprachdiplom;
  5. ÖSP- Österreichisches Sprachdiplom;
  6. TEST DaF- stoves B, B;
  7. High school diploma with teaching in French (only for candidates for the Faculty of Communication Sciences), German or English;
  8. Proof that they have completed, during pre-university education (middle school and high school), the subject French (only for candidates for the Faculty of Communication Sciences), English or German for at least 4 years of study.
The fees associated with the entrance exam for undergraduate studies established by UPT are:
registration fee - 100 lei
confirmation fee - 100 lei
the equivalent fee for the completed studies - 150 lei (it is charged only to the candidates declared admitted and must be paid together with the confirmation fee - partial equivalence)
equivalence fee per year of study promoted - 500 lei (will be paid when drawing up the study contract)
 
The registration fee can be paid in the accounts displayed before registration (the bank charges a commission) or at the commission, when the file is submitted during the registration period (02.07.2018 - 23.07.2018). The confirmation fee will be paid in the same bank account after the announcement of the results of the first round of admission!
The fees are set annually in accordance with the legislation in force (HCA 11 / 06.03.2018).
 
 

 Admission average calculation formula  

The Baccalaureate average is taken into account for the competition of files.

 
The school fee is established annually according to the legislation in force: Decision of the Board of Directors of the Politehnica University of Timișoara number 12/06 / 03.2018.
 
For the academic year 2018-2019 the school fee is:
 
-3,600 lei / year, payable in 2 installments for Informatics, Technologies and Telecommunications Systems, Machine Building Technology
-2,550 lei / year, payable in 2 installments for Communication and Public Relations.

  • Candidates for the Faculty of Communication Sciences will also attach the certificate obtained after taking the language proficiency test (according to Art. 4) or a legalized copy of one of the following documents (corresponding to the language of the study program involved)
