These days, the Polytechnic University of Timisoara has launched a new one online course, free, open, free on the online virtual learning platform UniCampus - the course Mobile commerce - m-commerce, www.UniCampus.ro
UniCampus is an initiative of the ID / IFR and eLearning Center (CEL) of the Polytechnic University of Timișoara (UPT) in order to develop the first MOOC (Massive Open Online Courses) university in Romania, as a virtual online platform for free, open, open courses for everyone. UniCampus vision is to strengthen the recognition of Romanian universities, the power to support and penetrate the economic, social and educational life in Romania of quality, academic education, by promoting free access to knowledge.
UniCampus is an open platform, developed by UPT and is supported by CEL, which will be attended by other universities in Romania that want to contribute to the development of open education, by developing MOOC courses in Romanian, similar to those offered internationally by Coursera, EdX, FutureLearn etc.
In April 2016, UniCampus was launched with 2 online courses: Open Education - concept, Open Education - Tools, and now the Mobile Commerce - M-commerce course is available, all developed by UPT in international partnerships.
M-commerce course (Mobile commerce) is aimed at all those who want to develop e-commerce activities, companies interested in activities on mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets. The course provides complete information from the economic, legal and technical area necessary for the successful adoption of the m-commerce paradigm. Trade in mobile devices, in short m-commerce, is the buying and selling of goods and services through wireless handheld devices, such as mobile phones and tablets.
Mobile Trade - M-commerce course is planned to last 5 weeks in the online environment, with tutorial support offered by the Polytechnic University of Timisoara, with video material, information, case studies, examples and tests. The course consists of 5 independent modules and includes the economic, legal and technical topics necessary for understanding and applying m-commerce. Each module focuses on a major theme: Fundamentals of m-commerce, Online marketing, Web and mobile usability, Online and mobile stores, m-commerce security.
After each of the 5 modules there is a test, the completion of the tests allowing students to obtain the certificate of completion of the course.
