29th EDEN Annual Conference - Human and artificial intelligence for the society of the future. Stimulating digital education for the next generation of students STE (A) M will focus on contemporary educational concepts, but also advanced practices, approaches and tools for innovative digital solutions in education, and the osmosis of integrating the arts with technology and the development of education in the exact sciences. In today's context of education during the pandemic, they are all the more relevant, and at EDEN 2020 the latest research results in digital education will be presented.
Along with this conference, the Polytechnic University of Timisoara launches an application dedicated to virtual academic conferences, unique, ConferenceUPT with facilities from organizing work sessions, integrating academic papers, including presentations and connecting by videoconference, to the possibility of direct communication, offering unlimited access to all participants, for the creation of a virtual community EDEN2020.
During the three days of the conference, they will be presented over 90 selected academic papers, published in open access and integrated in international academic databases. In addition to those 10 scheduled workshops, EDEN will present conceptual sessions about experience of Covid-19 webinars and recent online education, about open educational technologies, about leadership, digital culture and digital and future skills and micro-accreditations in higher education.
On this occasion it will be launched in public consultation by the European Commission, the Department of Education, European Digital Education Plan.
Open University Great Britain will have a 50th anniversary session again Scientific Symposium dedicated to PhD students is integrated into the conference program, with the progress report of young scientists and discussions of experienced university teachers.
The Polytechnic University of Timișoara also announces a series of interesting social events, with the presentation of cultural projects made for Timisoara European Capital of Culture 2021 (Spotlight Heritage), a virtual tour of Timisoara made in collaboration with the Faculty of Architecture, live music or virtual culinary experiences, all made with the partners of the eLearning Center (CoderDojo, Romanian Science Festival, Științescu, Timotion, Embassy, Faber, Bega Blues Band).
