Hundreds of participants at the Open Education & Science Practices Workshop 2026 UPT
The DeL and CM teams offered dozens of guided tours to the participants, who discovered MECIPT-1 – the first computer in the Romanian university environment. Alongside it, visitors could experience the latest virtual reality and mixed reality applications, developed by UPT students and faculty within the Spotlight Heritage Timișoara project.

Cea de-a doua ediție a reunit 28 de studenți la master și doctorat din șase țări europene. Sesiunile de prezentare din fiecare dimineață au fost transmise live prin Zoom, cu peste 20 de participanți online — masteranzi și doctoranzi care au urmărit gratuit prezentările speakerilor internaționali.
