Webinar OER Quality Assessment by EDEN

During Open Education Week 2019, EDEN (European Distance and e-Learning Network) organized a series of webinaries focused on the impact of open education, the importance of open educational resources and online courses, changes in global higher education due to the digital world and open education.

Dr. Diana Andone, the director of the ID / IFR and eLearning Center within the Polytechnic University of Timișoara, was one of the speakers in the webinar for evaluating the quality of open educational resources.

In the context of open education, quality assurance and verifying tools are necessary. During this webinar a series of perspectives were debate, thanks to the participation of several experts in various fields. The quality model of the DigiCulture project was presented as a study case.

The moderator was Antonella Poce, EDEN Fellow, EDEN NAP SC Chair, University Roma III, Italy and the other speakers were Gemma Tur Ferrer, Ulf-Daniel Ehlers, Ebba Ossiannilsson, Neil Butcher, Antonella Poce, Svetlana Knyazeva.

Open Education Week (OEW) it is a celebration of the global open education movement. The goal is to raise awareness about this movement and the impact it has on education and learning around the world, but also on the open and free education opportunities that exist for anyone, anywhere, right now.
