Silvia Roda Couvaneiro he has a PhD and a Masters in Education and Digital Technologies from the University of Lisbon. He is currently visiting professor at the Higher School of Education at the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal, at the Institute of Education of the University of Lisbon and at the University of Évora. He teaches and researches in the field of pedagogical innovation and the integration of digital and emerging technologies in educational contexts, innovative learning environments, digital competences and educational digital competences. He has trained educators and teachers at all levels of education, especially in the area of technology-enhanced learning and innovative learning environments.

The ID / IFR and e-Learning Center (CeL) was established in 1998, as an integral part of the Polytechnic University of Timişoara (UPT).
CeL organizes the specializations - Technologies and Systems of Telecommunications, Applied Informatics, Communication and Public Relations in distance education under license cycle and Technology of Machine Constructions in education with reduced frequency of license cycle.
