For over 20 years director of the former CIMEC - Institute of Cultural Memory (now part of the National Institute of Heritage). Currently bibliographer at the National Institute of Heritage and representative of Romania in the DCHE [Digital Cultural Heritage and Europeana] expert group of the European Commission. Important implications: metadata aggregation for the European Digital Library (europeana.eu); the E-Culture project - Digital Library of Romania. Major concerns: data models, ontologies, digital libraries.
