What are digital skills and what are digital skills? How do they apply in the cultural field?

How can I access, use and integrate various online, mobile tools?

Practical examples of Internet use and integration, WorldWideWeb, mobile, augmented reality, virtual reality, open data - open data, interactive presentations, online image and video editing and processing, music and sound applications, media and networks social, the use of web resources for promotion, marketing, etc

With 8 international speakers from the USA, Europe - Great Britain and Romania, the workshop is addressed to all actors in the cultural field, students, university professors, but also to those in the tourism field.

Participation is freeThe presentations will take place in Romanian and English and will take place issue a certificate of participation.

Dr. Diana Andone is director of the e-Learning Center at the Polytechnic University of Timisoara, with responsibilities in planning and implementing distance learning and integrating the use of online educational technologies for all forms of education, through the Virtual Campus of UPT - CVUPT. Dr. Andone is a lecturer in multimedia and web technologies, with an intense research activity at international level through various projects with European funding and multiple publications. Passionate about the use of technologies in everyday life, Diana promotes the use of open resources and MOOCs, developing UniCampus - online courses in Romania.

The list of publications includes 9 books and 82 papers presented at international conferences, she being a referent for 12 International Conferences, 4 magazines, 7 awards for the best work, obtained at various conferences and since 2010 she is co-president of WWW / IADIS International Internet Conference. In recent years, she has been involved in 21 European-funded projects.

In 2012, she received the title of EDEN (European Distance and E-Learning Network), and in 2014 she was elected a member of the EDEN Executive Committee.

Dr. Radu Vasiu he completed his master's and doctoral studies in Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications at the Polytechnic University of Timisoara in 1982 and 1997, respectively. He is currently a professor at the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications at the Polytechnic University of Timisoara. His research areas and fields in recent years have been oriented towards "open data", smart cities, mobile applications, e-learning, multimedia and web technologies. Since 1993, he has been involved in more than 30 international projects (Tempus, Phare, Socrates, Leonardo da Vinci, Life Long Learning, FP6, etc.), especially in the field of multimedia and e-learning, both as a coordinator, as well as as a contractor.

Since 2016 he is the President of the Senate of the Timisoara Polytechnic University and since 2004 he is the Director of the Multimedia Center.

He has been a visiting professor at various universities in the United Kingdom, Finland, France, Austria, Greece and the Netherlands.

Currently, Prof. Vasiu is the president of the International Association for e-Science (IAFeS), which promotes internationally the use of ICT in science and technology.

He is also a member of the IEEE Computer Society and IEEE Communications Society, European Association for Telematics Applications (EATA), European Distance and E-learning Network (EDEN), International Association of Science and Technology Engineers for Development (IASTED), European Portal for Advanced Collaboration in E-learning (EuroPACE) and of the Commission for the European integration of academic Romania - Timisoara branch.

I would. Dr. Ing. Silviu Vert is an assistant at the Polytechnic University of Timișoara and completed his doctoral studies exploring the potential of open data in augmented reality applications. He is also a developer for the e-Learning platform of UPT - Virtual Campus. He is actively involved in advocacy activities in "open government" at the local and national level.

Dr. Carmen Simon, Rexi Media

Carmen is an expert in cognitive neuroscience and co-founder of Rexi Media, a company that uses brain science to help corporations create memorable messages. She is also a successful author, with numerous publications and a frequent keynote speaker at conferences in the USA, Canada, Europe and Asia. Her latest book, Impossible to Ignore: Create Memorable Content to Influence Decisions, was selected as one of the ten best books of the year in the mentions of various specialized publications such as Inc.com., Forbes and Fast Company. As an experienced neuroscientist with two doctorates in instructional technology and cognitive psychology, Dr. Simon drew on the latest findings in neurological research to use memory to influence decisions.

Dr. Sorina Jecza has a humanist background, being a graduate of the Faculty of Philology (University of Timisoara ( 1975-1979), doctor in Visual Arts.

Executive director and, currently, president of the TRIADE Foundation from Timişoara, in this capacity he organized over 200 exhibitions, initiated and coordinated numerous projects financed by the Ministry of Culture, the Romanian Cultural Institute, the Administration of the National Cultural Fund, Timişoara City Hall. Also, as an editor, he edited and published, under the auspices of the Interart Triade Foundation, over 200 volumes: art catalogs, albums, monographs, literature books, and, as an author or co-author, he published literary history works and plastic.

Mark Frydenberg is a Senior Lecturer at Bentley University, a successful author of the Cengage Learning book series. Mark's professional interests include the use of technology in education. He is the Director of the CIS Learning and Technology Sandbox (http://cis.bentley.edu/sandbox) and is a frequent speaker at web 2.0 technology conferences.
