In this period of uncertainty due to COVID-19, in Romania, as in other countries, educational functions and activities face to face are moved online, using applications, platforms and various tools and working methods for distance education.
In the Together online webinars we respond to these challenges, in the most practical way possible, in spirit open education and free access to knowledge. Participants received an Open Badge (open digital certificate) – Together online.

Among the main topics discussed during the webinar were the scenarios of each university for the academic year 2020-2021, how to organize the opening of the school year, work scenarios for students accommodation, but also the situation related to educational activities, and technical and digital support of universities for students.
Over 530 participants from Romania - both teachers and students watched the event online, both on the Zoom platform and Live on CeL's Facebook and YouTube channels, and addressed dozens of messages and questions to the presenters.
Even if the scenarios and opinions related to the best practices for a very special academic year were different from institution to institution, the webinar ended on a positive note, and the rectors and vice-rectors of the 4 major universities in Timisoara transmitted to those in the audience to look forward with confidence, to respect the measures of distance, but ”to embrace the change”, ensuring quality education.
