Antonella Poce is Full Professor of Experimental Pedagogy in the Department of History, Humanities and Society at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, where she teaches Experimental Pedagogy, Educational Research Methods, and Museum Education. From December 2020 to February 2023, she served as Full Professor in the same field at the Department of Education and Humanities of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, where she established and chaired the international research centre INTELLECT, focused on Heritage and Museum Education Research, Well-being, and Teaching Technologies. She currently chairs the following joint postgraduate programmes (University of Rome Tor Vergata & University of Roma Tre): the one-year programme Empirical Studies in Museum Education and the two-year programme Advanced Studies in Heritage Education. She coordinates national, international, and European projects, and has chaired international academic committees on assessment and distance learning. Her research focuses on innovative teaching and learning practices in higher education at both national and international levels.
