IDMSC 2025: Digital innovation under the umbrella of the Accelerate Future HEI Project!
This year's edition of Interactive Digital Media Student Contest 2025 (IDMSC 2025), organized by the Politehnica University of Timișoara (UPT) through the Multimedia Center and the Department of ID/IFR and Digital Education, is directly part of the UPT's strategic transformation vision, consolidated by the European project „"Accelerate Future HEI"”.
Through this project, UPT intensifies its efforts to become a digitalized, innovative and entrepreneurial higher education institution. IDMSC 2025 represents a concrete platform through which students develop solutions to current challenges, contributing to the project's objectives.
An eloquent example of this innovation is the Grand Prize, won by Alexandru-Mihai Zvîncă (Automatics and Computers, UPT) for the project TreeHelper – Wood Transport Authorization and Monitoring System , a smart monitoring system that demonstrates the impact that student ideas can have.
