The Politehnica University of Timișoara is putting up for competition the last places for the distance and part-time education programs, starting on August 22, 2024, as follows: specialization Communication and Public Relations - ID - 2 places; specialization Machine Construction Technology (IFR) – 23 places
The Department of ID / IFR and digital education of the Politehnica Timișoara University organizes the admission competition for distance learning (ID) and part-time (IFR) programs - September session.
The form of education allows you to combine your studies with your professional and personal life, giving you the flexibility to learn at your own pace. You will benefit from the same quality of education as in the form of day education, but with a program adapted to your needs. Regardless of where you are or your program, you can become a graduate of Politehnica Timișoara University, obtaining a diploma recognized and appreciated on the labor market.
The UPT Virtual Campus platform manages courses, tutoring, communication, assignments and grades online. Practical activities and exams are held only on weekends, partly online. The programs offer the same courses, teaching staff, skills and titles as the form of full-time education. The DeL team dedicated to ID/IFR supports you throughout your admission and study years!

Communication and Public Relations: 3 years, distance learning – Faculty of Communication Sciences – 2 seats
Machine Construction Technologies: 4 years, part-time education – Faculty of Mechanics – 23 seats
Admission process
Admission to the ID/IFR is done through a file competition, using the Baccalaureate average as the tie-breaking criterion. Registration can be done both online, through the platform Enroll, as well as physically at the university headquarters, after online registration.
The programs are accredited by ARACIS and offer undergraduate degrees equivalent to those of the current form of education, according to HG607 / 2014.

Study method
The diploma obtained is identical to the current one, mentioning only the form of education. The programs have the same curriculum and teaching staff as the full-time program.
Advantages of distance / part-time education:

Specializations
Communication and public relations
The Communication and Public Relations (CRP) program at a distance (ID) offers the same skills, qualifications and diplomas as the full-time form of education. Graduates receive the title of "Bachelor of Communication Sciences".
Students are trained to work as communication and public relations specialists in various organizations: institutions, companies, NGOs. They can occupy positions such as: PR specialist, spokesperson, communication consultant, human resources specialist, assistant manager.
Machine Construction Technologies
The Machine Construction Technology (TCM) specialization trains mechanical engineers with skills in Industrial Engineering and practical skills for the productive and service sectors.
Graduates have various employment opportunities in industries such as: automotive, energy, transport, industrial equipment, household appliances, metrology, maintenance and mechanical repairs.
