Sarah de Rijcke is a professor in science, technology and innovation and scientific director at Center for Science and Technology Studies (CWTS) in Leiden. She is also co-chair of Research Institute on Research (RoRI). De Rijcke specializes in the social studies of research evaluation and has published extensively on the relationship between quality control mechanisms and knowledge production in various fields.
