Dr. Giuliana Sabbatini

Dr. Giuliana Sabbatini holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Rome „La Sapienza” and a PhD from the Technical University of Vienna (TU Wien). With over 25 years of experience as a consultant and academic professional, she has built a career at the intersection of higher education development, research management and quality assurance.

Currently, she heads the Service and Competence Center for Higher Education Development and Quality Management at the University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten and is a member of the University’s Executive Board. Since 2016, she has been the Lead Assessor for the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers / „HR Excellence in Research” on behalf of the European Commission, gaining extensive experience in quality audits for higher education institutions across Europe.
