Adrian A. Adascăliței
Prof. dr. Adrian A. Adascăliței is a member of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, at the Technical University “Gh. Asachi ”Iași since 1982 (assistant 1982, head of works 1990, associate professor 2003, professor 2016), where he taught courses in: electrical circuit theory, electromagnetic field theory, electromagnetic compatibility, electrical engineering, computerized analysis of electrical circuits.
Adăscăliței also teaches courses in the Departments of Teacher Training ("Al. I. Cuza" University Iasi and "Gh. Asachi" Technical University Iasi), in the subjects of didactics of engineering disciplines, computer-aided instruction, information and communication technologies (ICT) in engineering education. Dr. Adascalitei is the author (and co-author) of 7 textbooks (two in English) on electrical engineering subjects, e-learning, and information systems.
Dr. Adăscăliței has also published technical papers in research areas of e-learning, computer-aided electrical engineering education, and electromagnetic compatibility.
From 2002 until 2014 he was involved in several EU projects with particularly UK, France, Italy, Germany, Finland, The Netherlands, Austria, Denmark, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, Estonia, Greece, Romania, and Moldova on e-learning, and electromagnetic compatibility.
He is co-chairman for National Conference Virtual Learning, CNIV, and International Conference on Virtual Learning, ICVL, organized by the University of Bucharest, and Ministry of Education, Romania.
Adrian's recent research publications focus on: e-learning, blended learning, MOOC, OER, electrical engineering, electromagnetic compatibility.
