Diana Szekely

Diana Szekely is a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology, Politehnica University of Timisoara. Her research focuses on the role of emotional design in optimizing user experience (UI/UX) and digital interfaces, exploring how emotion-based design principles can improve usability, engagement and quality of interaction in digital environments.

Having started her career in development before moving into design, Diana combines technical knowledge and user-centered thinking in her work. She currently works as a UI/UX designer on several digital projects, with her academic and professional interests focused on optimizing digital interfaces, user psychology, and the interaction between technology and human behavior. Outside of her research and design work, she enjoys writing and spending time with her dog.
