Graduates of ID (distance learning) and IFR (part-time education) courses met for one last festive occasion - Graduation ceremony of the 2022 promotion<\/strong>. The event was organized by the ID \/ IFR and eLearning Center of the Polytechnic University of Timi\u0219oara and brought together both graduates and teachers from all four specializations in ID \/ IFR.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

We are fast approaching the completion of studies at the Polytechnic University of Timisoara for the final years. This year is a special one, from many points of view and we have many reasons to be happy that we want to share as we used to: staying close with the help of technology!<\/em><\/p>

And this year, the graduates were able to celebrate the completion of their studies according to their preferences, ID \/ IFR graduation ceremony<\/strong> taking place in format hybrid<\/strong><\/em>. A large number of graduates, teachers and academics were able to enjoy the emotions of a physical meeting in the Auditorium. Along with them, they participated virtually, but equally active and excited, their colleagues living in localities and countries far from Timisoara, connected to the event through the Zoom platform.<\/p>

The family and relatives of the graduates were able to watch the entire Ceremony in real time, the event being broadcast LIVE on the account of Facebook<\/a>\u00a0 and the channel YouTube<\/a> of the ID \/ IFR and e-Learning Center.<\/p>

The ceremony began with the word welcome<\/strong> addressed by the event host - Dr. Diana Andone<\/a> - the director of the IDT \/ IFR and e-Learning Center UPT, followed by the singing of the traditional Gaudeamus<\/strong><\/em> - both by those in the room and by those connected online.<\/p>

\u201cYou are a more special generation, because in one form or another, the ways in which you learned (..) were a little different, with many more online activities; and compared to those of today, you were more prepared to communicate through online platforms with teachers and less through direct activities. (\u2026) <\/span><\/em><\/p>

In the years to come, you will have another major challenge - you will always be asked, regardless of the specialty, where you ended up\u2026 and you will answer at the Polytechnic. No one will ask you if you have completed distance learning, IFR or full-time education, everyone will understand that you have completed Polytechnic. And that means you have to have a level of knowledge, to show certain skills in accordance with the diploma you receive. (\u2026) <\/span><\/em><\/p>

With the base with which you start from the Polytechnic, I am convinced that, by making an effort, you will not have any problem. \u201d<\/span><\/em><\/p>

I finished the Computer Science specialization 6 years ago, in 2016, and within this specialization I always benefited from the support of teachers. This gave me the opportunity to pursue a master's program at the University, as well as a doctoral program, which I want to complete this year. \u201cI would start with a short statistic of this year's bachelor's exam, (\u2026) at that knowledge test, the average of the marks obtained by those from ID was higher than those from the frequency, which means that probably there is more motivation.
