class=\"translation-block\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong> The e-Learning Centre <\/strong>  within the <strong>Politehnica University of Timi\u0219oara <\/strong> together with <strong> IEEE Romania and EDEN Association <\/strong> launched a series of practical and interactive webinars starting from <u>15 April 2020<\/u>, aiming to support teachers and students with the challenges of online education during the pandemic. <u> More than 10 partner institutions <\/u> responded to the <strong> #onlinetogether<\/strong> initiative and joined as presenters and moderators, gathering <u> over 4.800 participants <\/u> \u2013 teachers, students and interested parties.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e736fed elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e736fed\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4><b>Context<\/b><\/h4>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-13e29aa the  <strong>COVID-19 pandemic<\/strong>, just like in other countries, face-to-face <strong>educational functions and activities<\/strong> are being moved <strong>online<\/strong>, using  apps, platforms and various tools for distance education.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-50e95e7 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" the adjustment to working and teaching online, especially those who have always taught in a traditional classroom and are now being asked to rapidly regroup and prepare for a longer period of <strong>\u00a0educational \u201csocial distancing\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section answers for these questions, encouraging collaboration and supporting teachers with online education, the e-Learning Centre within the Politehnica University of Timi\u0219oara, together with IEEE Romania and EDEN Association initiated <strong> a series of practical webinars focusing on the challenges of online education and experience during these times. <\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section mostly by teachers and students within the academic environment, but also some of the undergraduate environment and interested parties from the private sectors.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-c5a9c78 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"c5a9c78\" data-element_type=\"section\" able to share unique opinions and experiences from different perspectives, encouraging collaborative work, both between teachers, students and the national academic environment, and thus we believe we have significantly helped the performance of online and open learning. webinars focused on the daily challenges of everyone in this period, being designed <strong> in the spirit of open education and free access to knowledge. <\/strong><\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">The presenters addressed various topics and perspectives on online education, open educational resources, and shared <strong> ideas, experiences, strategies and solutions <\/strong>, which they tried to implement in the current context.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section
