In these times of lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic<\/strong>, just like in other countries, face-to-face educational functions and activities<\/strong> are being moved online<\/strong>, using apps, platforms and various tools for distance education.<\/p>

In the Online together webinars, we respond to these challenges, in the most practical way possible, in the spirit of open education and free access to knowledge. Over 2,500 teachers<\/strong> from Romania attended the event dedicated to good practices of use and integration of open educational resources (OER-RED) in education, hosted and moderated by the Politehnica University of Timisoara. Both the presenters and the guests shared their practical experience related to the use and integration of OER-RED and offered recommendations to participants in undergraduate and academic education.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The event was a real success, with over 3000 registrations<\/strong>, with comments, opinions, and dozens of questions asked during the 2 hours, being broadcast live on YouTube and Facebook. It is part of the #onlinetogether webinar series - launched by UPT through CeL and meant to support teachers in transferring education from campus to online.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Towards the end of the event, the presenters, along with the guests and participants, launched a conclusion: Collaboration between teachers and institutions and a concrete visionary structure is the best way to succeed! <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The team that presented this webinar worked together to develop the guide launched in May 2020: Guidance on Open Educational Practices during School Closures: Utilizing OER under COVID-19 Pandemic in line with UNESCO OER Recommendation, <\/b>the first guide published under the auspices of UNESCO, meant to come in support of teachers everywhere, with examples of uses of practices and open educational resources (OER \/ Open Educational Practices, OEP), according to the UNESCO OER Recommendations.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Utilizarea Resurselor Educa\u021bionale Deschise \u00een conformitate cu Recomand\u0103rile UNESCO<\/b><\/a>\u201d was translated and adapted into Romanian by Dr. Diana Andone <\/strong> - Politehnica University of Timi\u0219oara, Prof. Carmen Holotescu<\/strong> -\u201c Ioan Slavici \u201dUniversity of Timi\u0219oara and Assoc.
